Good result in the last race of the Czech weekend for Öttl. The German rider finished in seventh position after starting sixteenth.

“Overall, it wasn’t such a bad race, at least until the final laps. Our pace was much stronger than yesterday and the start was also better: everything was a bit more competitive.

The grid position certainly didn’t help us because I believe we had the pace to be at the front, even though it wasn’t an easy race today. I struggled a bit with changes of direction and the bike felt a bit heavy.

I want to thank the team, because they did an excellent job all weekend. We had some difficulties on Friday, which then affected the rest of the weekend, but I think we learned many important things for the future.

I’m looking forward to the Misano test and I hope we can find one or two improvements that will help us in the next races. I believe we are quite fast, but Friday really penalized us.”
