Not the ideal start for Philipp Öttl in Race 1: the Feel Racing WorldSSP Team rider, forced to avoid contact in the opening metres, dropped back to ninth position.

However, during the fifth lap, he began to make a comeback, passing first one opponent and then another, moving up to seventh place. On the straight that opens the tenth lap, he makes good use of the slipstream and also takes sixth place.

In the following laps, he tried to close the gap on the leading group, but was unsuccessful. On the final lap, he lost two positions and crossed the finish line in eighth place.

The Feel Racing WorldSSP Team is now fully focused on the final race of the season, scheduled for tomorrow at 3:30 PM, again at the historic Jerez circuit.

Philipp Öttl (#65):
“Race 1 is over, we finished P8. I'm not very satisfied: I didn't get a good start and found myself in P10. I managed to climb up to P6, but I had some difficulties with the bike, especially with the front, throughout the race. On the last lap, I wasn't able to ride at my best and finished in P8, so I'm a bit disappointed. Tomorrow we'll start from P11, but I think we'll be able to improve the bike and see how far we can go. I'm optimistic, though”.
