Despite a gap of just 0.177 seconds from the poleman, Öttl finishes the Superpole in eighth place

“Today I’m happy with the pace, but not with the result.

We are still very close to the pole position time, but starting from P8 is not ideal. We will do our best and try to achieve the best possible result.

Honestly, my qualifying lap wasn't perfect, especially on the last exit.

I hope it stays dry tomorrow, both in warm-up and in the race, because we need to try a modification on the bike to be more competitive.

For the moment I’m not entirely satisfied, because we haven’t been able to make the most of our potential.”
