Öttl guadagna 2 due posizioni rispetto alla partenza ma non bastano per ritenersi pienamente soddisfatto; finisce l’ultima gara del weekend inglese in 9 posizione.

Öttl gains two positions from the start, but it's not enough to leave him fully satisfied; he finishes the final race of the British weekend in 9th position.

Philipp Öttl

“Race 2 is over and with it, the weekend concludes. Overall, P9 doesn't really reflect our true potential. I think the results this weekend don't show what we are actually capable of.

We were quite unlucky in qualifying, and with such close gaps in Race 1, even a very fast lap doesn't guarantee a top 9 position. With a better starting position, we could have easily fought for the top 5 or top 6.

The positive side is that I'm satisfied with my riding and the bike was competitive all weekend. The team did a great job and the bike looked beautiful throughout the event, especially with the Milwaukee livery.

Now I'm already looking forward to the next round, because I believe we can have a very strong second half of the season. We have a long break, but we will make the most of it to prepare. I will train at Magny Cours and Cremona to be ready.

It was also great to have Scars Racing and Milwaukee with us this weekend: I think the guests had a lot of fun. The bike looked really stunning in those colors and, from that point of view, it was a truly special weekend”.
