Misano Round - Saturday

Öttl started off strong in Race 1 of the Misano Round: from eleventh place on the grid, he immediately climbed up to eighth during the first lap.

On the third lap he gained another position, moving up to seventh, and on the fifth he set the fastest lap of the moment with an excellent 1'37.7.
He stayed with the leading group throughout the central phase of the race, even managing to overtake the sixth rider, but was immediately overtaken on the same lap.
On the penultimate lap he was overtaken three times and finished Race 1 in tenth position.

Now the Feel Racing WorldSSP team is focused on tomorrow's Sunday race.

“I expected something more. We were in the leading group right after the start, but then I had some trouble with front-end grip. Tomorrow we'll start from sixth place, which in my opinion is a much better starting point than today, and I hope to be able to stay in the top positions until the end”.
