Czech Round - Saturday

At 12:35 today, the Feel Racing WorldSSP Team took to the track for the first race of the fifth round of the Supersport World Championship.

Starting well from the grid, Öttl held fifth place for the first part of the race, then dropped to seventh after five laps. He quickly recovered to sixth place after a crash. Further retirements ahead of him allowed him to climb back up to fourth.
Philipp, thanks to an excellent pace, managed to keep a group of pursuers behind him until the penultimate lap, when he was overtaken by several drivers which allowed him to finish in seventh position .
A good performance from the German driver that gives us hope for Race 2 which will take place tomorrow.

Philipp Öttl (#65):
“Race 1 is over. I got a good start and spent most of the race in P4. Towards the end I had a lot of difficulty with rear grip and finished in P7. Hopefully we can improve a bit for tomorrow. We'll see how it goes”.
