Donington Round - Sunday

Öttl started Race 2 on the British circuit from sixth on the grid, thanks to the seventh-fastest lap he recorded in Saturday's race.

On the first lap, he immediately gained a position, moving up to fifth. On the seventh lap, however, he ran wide at Turn 11 and lost a position, dropping back to sixth. Around mid-race, he closed the gap on the riders ahead, managed to overtake, and reclaimed fifth place.
With four laps to go he was overtaken, which forced him to finish the last race of the seventh stage in the same place he had started from.
