Donington Round - Saturday

Öttl got off to a good start in race 1, but was unable to find any space to overtake during the first lap, remaining in eighth position until the third lap, when he overtook the driver in front of him.

On lap nine, he gained another position by taking advantage of a crash, moving up to sixth. Maintaining a competitive pace and in line with the leading riders for most of the race, Philipp finished in sixth place, also recording an excellent best lap:
1.29.921. A result that confirms the good feelings and lays a solid foundation for tomorrow's race, scheduled for 3:15 PM, again at the Donington circuit.

“Race 1 is over, we finished P6. A solid result. I was hoping for something more, but I had some grip issues towards the end of the race. I think we can fix that for tomorrow and I'm quite optimistic, especially since we'll be starting from the second row. Hopefully we can have another good race tomorrow”.
