Misano Round - Friday

In Race 2 of the Misano Round, Öttl got off to a strong start, passing three riders and immediately moving into third place. After a brief exchange of positions, he slipped to fourth, but returned to third with nine laps to go due to a crash. With six laps to go, he was back in fourth, still remaining close to the riders in front.

The race was stopped with a red flag with five laps to go due to a crash at Turn 14. Öttl finished in a solid fourth place , confirming a consistent performance.

The next round of the Supersport World Championship will be in a month's time at the Donington circuit in England.

“Today we finished P4, much better! Unfortunately, we were a bit unlucky with the red flag, because I felt like we could have been fighting for P3 or maybe even P2, for the podium. But that's racing. Now we're looking forward: the next round is in a month at Donington, and I can't wait”.
